How we do what we do
Sustainability- more than just a word.
Our business model is based on Ethics, Quality and Sustainability. What do they actually mean? We buy high quality green coffee through a social enterprise that exists to serve the coffee growing community, all profits are shared through the community and they choose how to best invest in their future. All our coffee is "high quality", to us this means, speciality grade, in the beans, in the roasting. Scoring over 80 points on the Q grader scale, specialty coffee has nuance and subtley, fruitiness or nuttiness, and by roasting it carefully, we preserve these attributes, so you can tell your washed burundi, from your anoxic natural rwanda. By paying a fair price, well over fair trade/commodity levels, we ensure sustainability and security for the farmers who produce these delicious coffees.
